Terms of Sale & Website Terms — Elite Interiors
Website: https://eliteinteriors.co.zw
Last updated: 9 May 2026
Draft placeholder only
This page is interim content for payment onboarding (e.g. Paynow). It is not final legal wording. Your lawyer should review and replace it before you rely on it for consumer protection, disputes, or regulatory filings.
1. Who we are
These terms apply when you use the website at https://eliteinteriors.co.zw ("Site") and when you commission work or purchase goods from Elite Interiors, with principal studio contact address at Unit 3, 51 Steven's Drive, Msasa, Harare, Zimbabwe trading as Elite Interiors ("we", "us").
Elite Furniture operates a separate retail site with its own commercial terms (including retail lay-by). Please see https://elitefurniture.co.zw/terms if you are buying there.
2. Nature of our work
[Placeholder] Much of what we do is bespoke or made-to-order (furniture, soft furnishings, installation coordination). Descriptions, samples, and imagery are indicative; final fabrics, dimensions, and finishes are confirmed in your order documentation.
3. Stocked vs bespoke items
[Placeholder] Where an item is held in stock, different cancellation rules may apply than for custom pieces where materials have been ordered or work has begun. Our team will identify which applies before you commit.
4. Deposits & payment
[Placeholder] We typically require a deposit or staged payments for bespoke work. Exact percentages, milestones, and acceptance criteria — to be set by your lawyer and our quotation process.
Retail lay-by with national I.D., 10% deposit, and USD Smart Credit cashback promotions are described on the Elite Furniture terms page where that programme applies to retail purchases there — not automatically to bespoke interiors orders.
5. Lead times — Elite Interiors
For typical bespoke interiors work, allow approximately 3–4 weeks from confirmation of your order (and any required deposit), unless we agree a different timeline in writing. Lead times vary with workshop load, imports, and fabric availability; we will give you our best estimate at order stage.
6. Installation & acceptance
[Placeholder] Access to site, snagging, sign-off, and care instructions — to be drafted with counsel.
7. Limitation of liability
[Placeholder for legal review] Liability limits and exclusions as appropriate for bespoke services — to be confirmed by your lawyer. Mandatory consumer protections that cannot be excluded will continue to apply.
8. Law & disputes
[Placeholder] Governing law and dispute resolution — to be confirmed for Zimbabwe (or as advised).
